We wanted to make it as easy as possible for WordPress website owners to join the SOPA protest so along with the help of Ten-321 Enterprises and Chris Tidd a WordPress plugin was built that allows you to easily show a splash page to your users when they load your site explaining why SOPA is bad for a free internet, explaining how to contact their congressional representatives, and urging them to take action.

You can see an example of what the splash page looks like at WPSopaPlugin.com. And you can download the plugin here. It is open source and it gives you a number of options to adjust how you want to join the protest:

From this admin section under Settings/SOPA Options you can add Blackout dates, choose how often you want the anti-sopa page to show and for what visitors and a lot more. Help is integrated right into the plugin too as you can see above. If you have any questions just leave a comment!
